I had to split this comment into two, there's so much going on here!

More artists:

Matthew Slaats - multimedia artist (here's his site) - you may have heard about the Hyde Park Project recently that showed at the drive-in on 9

Dana Bol - graphics and media artist with the Children's Media Project in the Lady Washington Hose Company at 20 Academy St

Thomas G Henry - has a connection with the Luckey-Platt Arts Collective

Here are good places to network with other artists.

Barrett Art Center
Dutchess County Arts Council
Mill Street Loft

Hi Josephine,

Welcome to Middle Main!

First off, we now have more information about the art project connecting the Fall Kill Creek to the Middle Main section of Main Street, that I mentioned to you and Ray in an email last month (click here). We hope that you and North Side Poughkeepsie Reunion would be interested in participating in some way. With all the memories coming back to Poughkeepsie this August, we can find a way of getting some of those memories onto Main Street this July.

There are a few artists on here already that I know of.

Toni Llanos - dance and performance. She and her husband run M*Power Center for Cultural Fitness at 390 Main
Franc Palaia - painting (murals particularly) and photography - check out the Triple Whammy show running until April 11 at his Gallery and Studio (G.A.S.) at 196 Main
Neil "Sleuth Pro" Johnson - spoken word - has a show called LYRICS next Saturday, April 3 at Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center at the corner of Main and Vassar

Jeep Johnson - glass and video/documentary artist in the Niagara Engine House at 6 North Hamilton St (here's his site)
