I can feel Spring in the air and am eagerly awaiting the 50/60 degree weather expected later this week. Finally a break from the snow and ice. But the change I feel in the air is not just due to the transformation of the seasons. As I basked in the warm sunlight that shined through the windows of the Middle Main Resource Center this afternoon, I recognized that much has changed since I started manning the Middle Main Resource Center (located inside the Mid-Hudson Heritage Center) this past Autumn. Indeed, when the MMRC began to have hours of service there still was construction going on...But don't just take my word for this transformation. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so enjoy this picture courtesy of Roberto Cruz. This is a picture of the beginning of February's Monthly Community Meeting which took place in the Mid-Hudson Heritage Center.
I invite you to come check out the Middle Main Resource Center in the Mid-Hudson Heritage Center (317 Main Street, Poughkeepsie) yourself. We're located next to Bull & Buddha and our days of service are Tuesday (12pm-8pm), Wednesday (12pm-8pm) and Thursday (12pm-4pm). Let's have a conversation about how we can work to build a stronger Main Street in Poughkeepsie.
